Vision & origins
Social, societal and environmental change cannot simply be decreed. It grows through the people concerned, shared knowledge and practical tools.
The origins
Born at OVHcloud in 2023, led by Justin Marquant and then structured with François Monié and Pierrick Druart, the initiative became an association in June 2025. It brings together businesses, public-sector stakeholders, education, research, associations, families and health and social care professionals.
An initial resource base focusing on autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and disability was developed with Association du Mouton à 5 Pattes and Julien Mesangeau, a lecturer at Université de Lille. It then expanded to cover inclusion and social and environmental responsibility.
Working with the Rectorat de l'Académie de Lille, the TaleMe studio and OVHcloud teams, people's life stories become resources for exploring guidance, careers and possibilities.
Our method
Nothing without people on the ground. Everything shared back with them. The people concerned participate throughout these three steps: a format must be tested by those it is intended for, improved and adapted to other contexts.
Start with practical use, identify barriers and involve the people concerned to bring together needs, lived knowledge and expertise.
Test clarity, accessibility and usefulness in real situations; clarify sources and limitations.
Document the conditions of use so it can be reused, adapted and improved elsewhere.

With Région académique Hauts-de-France, GIP ViaPro and OVHcloud, the project aims to broaden educational and career horizons through workshops, immersive experiences and portraits.
Public debate
At the Préfecture du Nord, 1001 advocates a knowledge commons to support guidance, employment, equal opportunities and the fight against stereotypes.
Trial
The workshop puts Panorama to the test in real situations and gathers participants' feedback to guide improvements.
Recognition
1001 Diversités is recognised among the HandiTech initiatives working for independence, accessibility and inclusion.
